For Professionals

CPA

We value our relationship with CPAs and the ability to work with them to serve the needs of clients.  CPAs are an integral part of a team approach that utilizes experts to address the tax, financial and legal issues facing clients.

We often use unique irrevocable trusts that provide the tax advantages of grantor trusts but also the advantages of protecting assets from creditors, predators, nursing homes and outside parties while keeping clients in control.  We enjoy updating CPAs on the use of these tools.  Click here to arrange a mutually convenient meeting to see how we can work together.

Attorneys

We understand it’s impossible to handle all areas of law.  As a firm that focuses extremely on elder law and estate planning, we have a process to work with you and your clients to help meet your clients’ needs.  Please contact us to discuss how we may assist you directly with your clients or as a guide.

Financial Advisors

A proper financial plan is integral to our client’s success.  We enjoy working with ethical and competent financial advisors to assure our clients’ success.  Often we see clients with multiple financial “advisors” and no strategic plan in place.

We believe in diversification of investments but not necessarily diversification of financial advisors.  Having too many separately functioning individuals providing financial advice can lead to a lack of a functional plan.  We welcome the opportunity to educate financial advisors on how they can assist clients in protecting assets for these clients and for the clients’ loved ones.  Contact us to set up a meeting to discuss how we can work together to better serve clients.

Banking

Bankers share a special relationship with their clients. At Elder Law Center of Wisconsin, LLC, we enjoy working with bankers to help develop that relationship to a whole new level.

One of the biggest challenges to banking institutions is communication between the bank and the financial services division associated with it.  Elder Law Center of Wisconsin’s planning process helps bridge that gap and identify ways for the different departments of the bank to work more effectively together.

We can help you with your clients. We can help you develop deeper relations with the client and extend those to other family members just by utilizing our process. Often, our systems and processes also support you and minimize the amount of work you have in relations with your clients.

The fundamental benefit of working with us is our belief of your importance to the estate planning process. To create a successful estate plan, it is essential to ensure all clients’ assets are lined up with the legal documents they create.

Having to utilize multiple financial professionals is counterproductive for the client and often leads to failed plans. We highly recommend our clients consolidate their financial assets with one financial professional whom they trust.

Having multiple advisors often leads to financial strategies that can actually conflict with each other. Further, the financial strategies chosen must be consistent with the legal strategies we help the client implement to ensure the clients’ goals are achieved.

It is absolutely essential financial professionals communicate with our office and us with them, when dealing with clients to ensure the long-term goals of our mutual client, as created by the legal documents, actually do what the client thought they were going to do. We welcome new relationships and always encourage the growth of established relationships.

Social Workers and Care Providers

Social Workers and Care Providers are at the front line and have the ability to spot unfilled needs of their clients. We work with you to make sure your clients have their estate plans in order, their finances are appropriately set up to maximize their ability to cover care costs, and that your clients care plan is able to be sustained as long as possible.

We find that most clients do not have their legal affairs arranged in the most effective way possible nor do they have a coordinated financial plan to determine how best to pay for care to minimize taxes and assure longevity of the plan.

We are happy to provide a complimentary consultation to review your clients existing legal documents and financial plans/assets to assure they are arranged to meet their needs and desires.
